Microsoft rights Xbox Live update wrongs

Microsoft has learned the error of its ways, returning the independently developed games it offers back into the Games and Demos section of Xbox Live today.

After much consternation from fans who could not find the games and developers complaining about visibility problems, Microsoft decided to make things right. The games also were not available as part of Xbox Live's game search functions.

The changes came as part of the Xbox Live Fall Update, which gave the service a make-over, added new functionality and features, and enabled support for the Kinect motion sensing camera.

Xbox Live Indie Games were pushed into the Specialty Shops section of Xbox Live Marketplace, which gave all of the games less visibility and generally made them hard to find.
