Watch as two commando rabbits infiltrate the camp of a camel militia army to free hostages in this amazing, epic animated series based on the Japanese manga, Apocalypse Meow. A fluffy, fuzzy action thriller that recalls Call of Duty and Metal Gear Solid, this video brought the GamePro editors' workday to a complete halt.
EDITOR'S NOTE: We've embedded the trailer for this awesome animated flick below along with a link to a site where you can watch the first episode. There are 12 episodes in total planned and a Blu-ray release in the works. Watch it and tell us what you think!
We'd like to thank former GamePro editor and current Namco Bandai PR superstar, Tim "RiceBurner" Ng, for sending us the link to this.

You can watch episode one of Cat Shit One at AnimeUltima.tv. The series' official site can be found here, but be warned that it's in Japanese (it's still pretty awesome to look at).
Jason: These are the deadliest rabbits since Watership Down (or Monty Python). I dig this, and I'm not even a fan of games such as Modern Warfare. I love the part in the village where Perkins tells his buddy to take off all the cool-looking gear from his gun -- it reminds me of how in many games, the soldiers would be sitting ducks because of the weight of their own armaments. And it takes a twisted mind to cast cute, fluffy bunnies as soldiers.
Julian: I saw this a little while back and think it's utterly awesome. Although the animals look cute, the storyline and action is very realistic: the series writer Motofumi Kobayashi wanted to put characters that had high emotional appeal because of the way they look in perilous human situations we have become tolerant to due to endless video game and movie portrayals. I think it works very well in that respect - I'm certainly rooting for the heroes! The characters are actually depictions of nationals based on stereotypes or puns - for example, Americans are rabbits because the Japanese word for rabbit is usagi (USA GI) and in a forthcoming episode the British are portrayed as rats because of the famous WWII "desert rats" division. Apparently 12 episodes are coming soon on Blu-ray. I can't wait!
Andy: The setting in this ridiculous bunny spy thriller reminds me of the 2010 reboot of Medal of Honor, complete with turban sporting baddies (read: camels) and a sweeping desert backdrop. The weird thing about the video though, is that aside from the anthropomorhic cast, the story seems to take itself fairly seriously. I know I'm missing some of the foreign charm, but I wish with all the silly animals running around there'd be at least a small dose of humor.
Tae: It's stuff like this that makes me glad the Internet exists. I rarely buy Blu-rays or DVD movies, but if I ever see this in a store, I'm going to buy it. Better yet, I hope a distribution company takes the whole series, strings it all together and does a theatrical release. I'd much rather see this sort of stuff at the local mega-plex than crappy rom-coms like How Do You Know?
Patrick: I'm not sure if I'm more impressed by how high-quality the computer animation featured in this bizarre video is, or how well it combines bunny rabbits and realistic military combat operations reminiscent of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Either way, I won't be able to rid my mind of the image of the furry creatures in this vid sporting full combat gear. Equal parts awesome and weird.
EXTRA BONUS HILARITY: A Venn Diagram comparing prostitutes, doctors, and TSA agents. So true. Thanks to Twitter user @Eris for the link.
